Hong Kipyo advances to the Kuksu finals

Hong Kipyo(4d) defeated An Hyungjun(2d) by resignation in the semifinal match of the 53rd Kuksu. Hong Kipyo will face Lee Changho in the Kuksu title match, which begins on March 6th. This was Hong Kipyo’s first tournament win for 2010 and will be his first national title match of his career. Hong Kipyo was 43rd in the Korean professional standings in 2009.
